Our company
Cashfinders "R" Us is an asset recovery firm. Every day we work through financial records from more than a thousand government agencies and private databases, looking for funds that belong to somebody who does not know they exist.
Bruce Williams founded the firm in 2011. We have been Better Business Bureau accredited with an A+ rating since 2012, and licensed through the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder, and we work nationally.
We search the Earth to improve your net worth. It is a slogan, and it is also a fair description of the job.
What we actually do
Courts, county treasurers and government agencies hold funds that were never collected. A property sold at auction for more than was owed. An estate closed with money still in it. A settlement nobody came to claim. The records exist, and almost none of them are searchable in any practical way.
Tracing the person the money belongs to is the harder half, and it is where most of our time goes. Records go stale. People move, marry, change names, die. By the time a file reaches us the trail is often decades old.
That is why you may be hearing from us by mail rather than the other way round.
How we search
Some of this is public and badly indexed. Some of it we pay for. Some of it means somebody physically walking into a courthouse.
How we work
These are not marketing promises. They are the terms the business runs on, and they are the reason we can approach a stranger about money without asking them for anything first.
Every search, database subscription, courthouse trip and professional fee comes out of our pocket, on every case, including the ones that recover nothing. You are never invoiced.
Our fee comes out of the funds after they reach you. If the claim fails, we absorb the loss. The minimum claim we pursue is $1,000, because below that the cost of recovery exceeds the recovery.
Not on a form, not on the phone, not later in the process. Confirming identity for this purpose does not require one, and anybody who tells you otherwise should be treated with suspicion.
You see exactly what we recover and exactly what we are paid, and you sign, before we act. Where funds come from a probated estate the fee may be higher, and you are told that in writing too.
Track record
Bruce Williams started this business in 2011 and it has held Better Business Bureau accreditation with an A+ rating since 2012. In a field where firms appear and vanish inside a couple of years, that record is checkable and it is worth checking. Look us up on bbb.org directly rather than through a link we gave you.
We do not publish a headline recovery figure, because you would have no way to check it. Everything above you can verify in about a minute, which is worth more.
Typical claims run from the $1,000 minimum into the tens of thousands. Most take 60 to 90 days from filing, and we are not paid until you are, so there is no version of this where delay works in our favour.
Where we are
Our office is at 440 N. Barranca Avenue #6677, Covina, CA. The records take us across the country, because unclaimed funds sit wherever the case was heard rather than wherever the owner ended up.
If it is yours, we will work to find it. That is the whole job.
The search costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You are under no obligation at any point before you have our terms in writing and have signed them.
